LARRY HANSELKA, Ph.D.
Dr. Hanselka is a licensed psychologist who has worked in the addiction field for over fifteen years. After graduating from the University of Houston, Dr. Hanselka received his masters in educational psychology from Texas A&M University and his doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of North Texas. He completed an internship in clinical psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 1992.
Dr. Hanselka has experience in individual, couples, family and group therapy, as well as administering psychological tests and inventories. Throughout his counseling career, Dr. Hanselka has conducted numerous research trials to investigate the safety and efficacy of psychiatric medications designed to treat chemical dependence and other psychiatric disorders. Dr. Hanselka’s clinical and research background, along with his genuine care for his clients, makes him an invaluable member of our clinical team.
DR. JEANIE ZELANKO, RN, CNS, PMH, Ph.D.
Jeanie Zelanko has had experience as a psychiatric nurse in wide variety of settings in both the public and private sectors. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Baylor University. She completed her Master of Science in Mental Health Nursing at Texas Woman’s University and is certified by the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She completed post-graduate work for her prescriptive authority at the University of Texas Austin. She received her doctorate Health Studies at Texas Woman’s University.
Jeanie has experience in both the public and private sector as a mental health nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist. Jeanie is active in the community and a member of Texas Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, Beta Beta Chapter, and the International Society of Addictions Nurses. She has also served as adjunct faculty at Texas Woman’s University and the University of Texas Arlington. She has done numerous mental health-related programs on both the local and national level.
